2024 Porsche Cayenne, one-off Lamborghini: this week’s top photos

Porsche has been testing prototypes for an updated Cayenne 2024 in the wild for over a year. This week, the automaker confirmed a spring debut and said there will be upgrades to the powertrain, chassis and interior along with new styling.
2024 Rolls-Royce Specter prototype
Rolls-Royce is also still testing prototypes for the Specter, although it has already shown the large electric coupe. In the most recent test, prototypes were exposed to temperatures of up to 122 degrees.

Genesis also tested a coupe-like version of its GV80. The regular mid-size SUV GV80 competes with the BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class, so it’s only natural that Genesis would want an alternative to the coupe-like versions of these vehicles.
Lamborghini Invincible
Lamborghini is on the verge of unveiling a V-12 plug-in hybrid supercar to succeed the Aventador, meaning the V-12-only era is almost over for the Raging Bull. To mark the milestone, Lamborghini launched two one-offs.
2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse carbon fiber wheels
The redesigned 2024 Ford Mustang finally hits showrooms this summer, joining the range in a new track-focused variant called the Dark Horse. This week Ford showcased the full range of customization options that will be available for the 500hp Ross, one of which will be carbon fiber wheels.
2024 Toyota Grand Highlander
The 2023 Chicago Auto Show was held this week, and Toyota used it to unveil the 2024 Grand Highlander. The three-row midsize SUV hits showrooms later this year with up to eight seats and three powertrain options, two of which are hybrids.
Volkswagen Atlas 2024
Volkswagen used the Chicago show to present its updated Atlas 2024. The old VR6 V6 engine is gone, leaving a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4 as the only powertrain offered in the SUV.
Hennessey H700 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray
And finally, Hennessey released a supercharger upgrade for the C8 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray that boosts power to 708 horsepower or more than what the Corvette Z06 offers. Hennessey is also preparing a twin-turbo upgrade for the Corvette, which the company says will offer up to 1,200 horsepower.
