According to data from the United States Census Bureau, population growth in major cities slowed from 2020 to 2021, and migration trends show that between 2020 and 2022, many more people chose to enjoy their Zoom calls in the southern and western regions of the country . Some savvy homeworkers and others looking for a change in the urban landscape took advantage of the various programs sponsored by the city government that offered incentives such as grants, tax breaks, and discounts on cultural attractions for new residents when they moved. It turns out that many of these offers are here to stay. If you want to put down new roots, these nine American cities will get you paid to do it.
