Saget has had a career spanning decades. In 1987, he landed the title role in the ABC sitcom “Full House” which lasted for eight seasons. He got his big break while working as a warm-up comedian on the TV show “Bosom Buddies” thanks to producer Jeff Franklin, who would go on to create “Full House”. He also hosted America’s Funny Home Videos, provided narration for all nine seasons of the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother and occasionally appeared in the “Full House” reboot of “Fuller House” on Netflix.

In addition to his acting career, Saget has also been a successful comedian. His professional demeanor was peppered with crude language and sexual humour, creating a stark contrast to the family-friendly image he presented in the sitcom that made him a household name.
