Elden Ring’s Character Creator Has Leaked And Fans Love How In-Depth It Is

Footage from character creator Elden Ring has been leaked, and fans are pleasantly surprised to discover that it’s a much more in-depth system than that found in Dark Souls and Bloodborne.

Elden Ring – Leaked Character Creator

Leaked by YouTuber ER-SA, the character creator allows making much more natural-looking human characters than previous FromSoftware games. Part of that comes from the graphic accuracy of the Elden Ring; Although it can’t be said to be on par with the PS5 Demon Souls remake, the characters are more comparable, and of much higher quality than those seen in Dark Souls 3 or Bloodborne. A comparison of the results of FromSoft’s recent character creation was posted on Twitter by fan SkeleMann:

Additionally, a number of slider options allow for a great deal of in-depth control over the look of your Elden Ring character. In the closed network test, from which this footage was leaked, the labels for each of the options were missing. However, we can clearly see from the results that there are options to change the spacing on all sides of the face, and the ability to fix areas like the nose, cheeks, chin, and eyebrow. Basically, while Elden Ring’s improved graphics allow for more natural-looking characters, you’ll also be able to create a completely disgusting character monster, if you still want to.

So far, fan reaction has been very positive, with many as interested in making a realistic character as in making something that can be displayed at Monster Factory.

“I see that the spirits’ tradition of making horrific mutated beasts possible is still alive and well,” said WereSalamander user on Resetera. “The hair looks absolutely amazing here,” Zurek added.

MeltedDreams user said: “Huge DSIII upgrade. Honestly I wasn’t expecting. Oh, and you can still make hateful characters! Everyone will be happy this time lol.” “Lovely. I’m glad I still do it Ruin Improve each movie scene,” Mr. Sepp said.

Elden Ring and Souls veteran director Hidetaka Miyazaki recently revealed that the graphic quality of the Demon Souls remake is putting extra pressure on the Elden Ring team to make the game look great. And while the multi-platform nature of Elden Ring means it will likely never look as graphically advanced as Demon Souls for PS5, this is definitely a step forward for FromSoftware, and the character creation suite is headed in that direction.
