Elvis’ ex Linda Thompson writes heartbreaking tribute to Lisa Marie

Elvis Presley’s ex-girlfriend expresses her heartbreak after the death of his daughter Lisa Marie Presley.

Following the singer’s death on January 12 at the age of 54 from a possible heart attack, Linda Thompson – who dated the King of Rock and Roll in the ’70s – shared an emotional post on social media.

Alongside a photo of Elvis holding a young Lisa Marie, Linda wrote on Instagram on Jan. 12, “My heart is too heavy for words.”

The heartbreaking tribute came hours after the songwriter showed her support for Lisa Marie following news of her hospitalization. In the post, she shared a series of flashbacks to herself and Elvis with Lisa Marie in the ’70s.
