Elon Musk’s banter over a massive reveal about Hunter Biden, his infamous laptop and his Twitter “suppression” flopped big on Friday, even with right-wingers set to swoon over the information.
“So far I’m deeply underwhelmed,” tweeted right-wing radio host Seb Gorka, who served in the Trump administration. “We know that the Dems in DC are working with the Dems in Palo Alto. big throw [whoop],” he added.
Gorka said he hopes a “series of crimes” will be uncovered. But it didn’t come to that, he stated after the journalist Matt Taibbi posted a lengthy Twitter thread Detailing Musk’s touted findings.
So far I am deeply overwhelmed.
We know the Dems in DC are working with the Dems in Palo Alto.
big throw.
Need a paper trail of crime.
Elon should have better.

A prominent right-wing extremist who was overwhelmed by the information was Donald Trump, who found the Twitter files leak so damning that he called for the termination of articles of the constitution so he could be reinstated as president, or for a new election.
But almost everyone else seemed unimpressed.
“Twitter files [are] overwhelming so far,” according to right-wing Free Beacon reporter Joe Simonson tweeted. Twitter is “staffed with Democrats” acting like Democrats, he said.
musk hyped the release on Friday by Taibbi on exchanges between Twitter executives – to which he now has access – and reveals a debate over how to deal with tweets about a discovered laptop containing information about business activities of Joe Biden’s son. Twitter eventually limited comments over concerns the politically charged issue would include tweets laden with disinformation, the releases show.
Critics have branded the move a violation of the First Amendment, which has no role in business decisions.
Gorka had to train his own Twitter followers on constitutional issues: “Um, no, it’s not the DNC asking a private company to censor… has nothing to do with the First Amendment.”
A columnist for the right-wing network Bulwark ridiculed those falsely outraged by the denial of First Amendment rights.
“No, you have no constitutional right to post Hunter Biden’s dickpick on Twitter,” headlined a story by Tim Miller. Some Twitter posts about Hunter Biden that Joe Biden’s campaign had asked for removal were linked to footage of him in the buff.
The Taibbi information largely reflects what was already known, Miller noted: that Twitter “curtailed the New York Post’s initial story about Hunter’s laptop, based on what we now know was an incorrect assessment by its source.” It also underscored “business as usual” with political campaigns and the government “working with social media companies — in this case, Twitter — to flag disturbing content,” he said.
Hunter Biden has been repeatedly criticized by Republicans for sitting on the board of directors of Ukraine’s energy company Burisma while his father was vice president and working to clean up corruption in the nation.
There was nothing illegal about such a job, although some consider it unethical to profit from a relative’s position of power in the federal government.
Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, both of whom served as advisers in the Trump administration despite their lack of political experience, have benefited from their connections.
For example, the Saudi Public Investment Fund poured a massive $2 billion into a $2.5 billion fund set up by Kushner, who had no experience running such an operation. The Saudi investment came just six months after Kushner left the White House, where he had spent years cultivating a cozy American relationship with Saudi Arabia.
Kushner helped broker a highly controversial deal for Saudi Arabia to buy billions of dollars worth of American weapons while the nation bombed civilians in Yemen. And Trump has become a key defender of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, whom American intelligence has blamed for the horrific murder of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
