Harry & Meghan’s chances of King Charles’ coronation invitation are questionable

To invite or to invite – that’s the question facing King Charles when it comes to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attending his coronation next year… and there are many opinions.

Now that the couple’s Netflix documentary is out (at least in part), many have been wondering what will become of the king’s grand ceremony next spring – namely, whether the duke and duchess will be asked to come, or on the other side … specifically told that they are not welcome?

Several so-called royal pundits have chimed in over the past few days – and the consensus seems to be… it depends on what else comes out in their series.

So far, there haven’t been any really bombastic allegations against the royal family that we weren’t already aware of. In the first three episodes of Harry & Meghan, the couple mostly opened up about how they met and how they found their way early in British press/royal life.

While the first official trailer seemed to promise some harsh criticism of the senior members – including Prince William and Charles – the document has been relatively mild of late. The second half, which airs December 15, is sure to feature more inflammatory content…that is, after they covered Meghan and Harry’s first wedding dance, which Netflix teased with a new clip.

Now, if Harry and Meghan continue to address their allegations of racism in relation to their son Archie, it could easily blow their chances of an invite to the May coronation… which is currently actually scheduled for the child’s 4th birthday by date.

Unclear if that was intentional or not, but it certainly seems fishy. In any case, neither party has officially commented on any plans as to whether Harry and Meg will attend or not… but some insiders have claimed that Charles’ wife, Camilla, has expressed that they want to be there.

Some in the UK are saying outright that Harry and Meghan shouldn’t bother until Charles has to decide… and claim they’ve burned too many bridges here. Stay tuned …
