Millions of dead fish found in Australian river

Locals in a regional Australian town have woken up to find millions of dead fish in their river.

The widespread fish kill was first reported in the New South Wales town of Menindee on Friday morning.

The state’s river authority said it was the result of an ongoing heat wave that affected the Darling Baaka River.
