Neutrogena has been asking us to put its soaps, lotions, and other products on our bodies for years. Now it wants us to put its creations in our mouths.
The company best known for face washes and moisturizing lotions is promising better skin through its custom Skinstacks skin nutrient gummies, unveiled this week at CES in Las Vegas. The product is a joint effort between Neutrogena and dietary supplement manufacturer Nourished.
To create the custom gummies here at CES, Neutrogena will scan your face for skin scores and suggest what vitamins and minerals you think your skin needs most. Then a 3D printer literally produces the gums that Neutrogena claims will nourish your skin.
According to Neutrogena, the supplements, which cost $50 for a 28-day supply, are vegan, sugar-free and available in plastic-free packaging. How do they taste? I’ll let you know after I scan my face and print my own personal formula later this week.
