US employers continued to hire steadily in November, adding 263,000 jobs despite efforts by the Fed to rein in the job market.
The unemployment rate remained at 3.7%, the US Bureau of Labor Statistics said on Friday.
Wage growth accelerated, with average wages up 5.1% over the past 12 months – below the rate of inflation but much higher than the Federal Reserve wants to see as it tries to cool the economy.
