Rita Moreno got some help from The King to get back at Marlon Brando for cheating.
On Wednesday, the Oscar winner appeared on “The View” where co-host Joy Behar asked her about the actor who “constantly” cheated on her during their 8-year relationship.
Moreno and Brando first met when she was 22 on the set of the 1954 biopic “Désirée.”
The 89-year-old recalls: “I found underwear in his house, and of course I was sad, and I went home crying – I was really naive – and I was angry too, just angry.” The next day, the phone rang, and I heard ‘Miss Marina? “Ah, yes?” I said, “This Colonel Parker, my client is Elvis Presley, and Elvis spotted you at the 20th Century Fox commissioner, and he liked what he saw.”

‘I said, ‘Oh?’ He said, “He would very much like to meet you. Would you like to meet him?” “And I thought in those underwear, and said, ‘Yes, I will!”
The ‘West Side Story’ star said she “dated [Elvis] Several times,” but the romance was short. The singer, she said, was “sweet but boring.”
“He was cute, but he was a country boy,” Moreno explained. “Anyway, when? [Brando] Find out, it didn’t take long. He started throwing chairs. He was very angry. it was amazing. And I sat there and he throws chairs and continues.”
The New York Post reported that after Brando’s death in 2004, some of his possessions were auctioned off. The only piece of movie memorabilia found in his California home was a picture of the “Godfather” star in the 1969 movie “The Night of the After Day” where he had a passionate kiss with Moreno. According to the director, it was hung on the wall of his office.

In 2017, Moreno told People magazine that Brando had “the lust of her life.” Moreno told the outlet that she still had Brando’s picture in her bedroom.
“Why that picture of Marlon Brando? Because he’s loved me so much in my life,” Moreno explained. “This, it sounds like a short article from a movie, and that’s why it’s there. It’s been the lust of my life.”
Moreno called her husband Leonard Gordon “the love of my life.” The couple tied the knot in 1965 and stayed together until his death in 2010.
In 2016, Moreno told Fox News that her pursuit of acting has kept her busy in Hollywood over the years.

“You know, I get asked all the time like I know,” she said at the time. “I don’t know! I have no idea. It’s the way I build, that’s for sure. I’ve always been that way. And with all that energy and drive comes great happiness. I’m a very positive, optimistic person. It’s just part of my nature. That doesn’t mean I’m I don’t get angry or depressed. Not at all. But my great nature is a very positive nature.”
