SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launches 50 satellites to orbit for Starlink megaconstellation, BlackSky

CAPE CANAVERAL, Florida — SpaceX just launched the first of four planned launches of its Falcon 9 rockets this month, with its rocket carrying a stack of 48 Starlink satellites and two Black Sky Earth observation satellites into orbit, before demonstrating Boosted landing at sea.

A previously launched Falcon 9 rocket lifted off from Space Launch Complex 40 here at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station at 6:12 p.m. EDT (2312 GMT), marking the ninth flight of this particular boost.
