“It’s a home for people,” the actor explains the concept of the pub – not only on the show but also in real life. “It’s a place where they can just sit and read the paper, linger with their pint or party. They can drown their sorrows and always have company. And I think that’s huge.”
Ted Lasso star Annette Badland will be hosting the stay.

Aside from singing karaoke and cheering on the local teams (AFC Richmond gear provided), Ted-Heads will enjoy authentic pub fare and try their hand at some of the other bar activities featured on the show, including Darts, pinball and more A game of chess at Ted’s favorite table. “You’d better not make a mess, though. I don’t want to clean up afterwards,” jokes the actor. “If they behave well, they might only find a cookie or two as a reward.”
Reservations will open on Airbnb on March 21 at 1:00pm ET for the three one-night stays occurring on October 23, 24, and 25, 2023. It only costs £11 (or around $13) per night to book – an indication of the number of players on the football pitch. “Come in,” Badland waves in character. “The beer isn’t warm!”
