(Natural News) New research published Feb. 2 in the peer-reviewed journal Cureus shows vaccine uptake is directly linked to infant mortality — meaning the more shots a baby gets, the greater it is the likelihood of sudden death.
Authors Gary S. Goldman, PhD, an independent computer scientist, and Neil Z. Miller, a medical researcher, reconfirmed what they found more than a decade ago: that there is a positive statistical correlation between infant mortality rates (IMRs) and the number of vaccine doses given to a baby.
Entitled “Reaffirming a Positive Correlation Between Number of Vaccine Doses and Infant Mortality Rates: A Reaffirming a Positive Correlation Between Number of Vaccine Doses and Infant Mortality Rates: A Responsing to Critics,” the paper states that “a positive correlation between the number of vaccine doses and IMRs in the most developed nations is detectable”.
Goldman and Miller repeated the same statistical analysis they used back in 2011 to reach the same conclusion, reaffirming that immunization programs are the bane of children’s health. What we’ve been billed as beneficial to public health is actually a detriment to them, the new study confirms.
(Related: Even before Covid, studies showed that the more vaccinations a baby was given, the greater his or her likelihood of suffering from cot death [SIDS].)
Data shows that countries that do not vaccinate their children frequently see very few sudden infant deaths
The first publication by Goldman and Miller was published in the journal Human and Experimental Toxicology. It explains that IMR is one of the most important indicators of socioeconomic well-being and public health conditions in a country.
“The US childhood immunization schedule calls for 26 doses of vaccine for infants under 1 year old — the most in the world — but 33 nations have lower IMRs,” explains the first study.
“Using linear regression, the immunization schedules of these 34 nations were examined and a correlation coefficient of r=0.70 (p<0.0001) was found between IMRs and the number of vaccine doses routinely given to infants."
The “r” in this context refers to the correlation coefficient, a number ranging from -1 to 1. Any number above zero is considered a positive correlation, while any number between 0.6 and 0.79 is considered a “strong” positive correlation.
This means that vaccines are at the high end of 0.70 in relation to a positive correlation with IMR – a value of 0.8 and above is considered a ‘very strong’ positive correlation.
The “p-value” in this context refers to the extent to which the value of the predictor in a linear regression analysis is related to changes in the response variable. Any p-value less than 0.05 is considered statistically significant, indicating that the predictor and response are related and moving in the same direction.
Overall, both the first and the last study confirm that in countries like the United States, where the immunization schedule for children is extensive, IMRs tend to be much worse compared to countries that do not vaccinate their children frequently and do better have IMRs.
“In 2011, we published a study that found a counterintuitive, positive correlation, r=0.70 (p<0.0001), showing that among the most developed nations (n=30), those who had more vaccines for their infants tend to have higher infant mortality rates (IMRs)," Miller told The Defender of his and Goldman's recent work.
“Much more research needs to be done in this area, but more studies will produce only limited positive changes until more individuals and families begin to make the link between vaccines and adverse events.”
“Additionally, legislators and public health officials must allow people to accept or refuse vaccines without intimidation or negative consequences.”
