Turkey will launch ground operation in Syria after strikes – Erdogan

Turkey considers the YPG a terrorist group and insists it is an offshoot of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), which has been fighting for Kurdish autonomy in Turkey for decades. The PKK has also denied its involvement in the November 13 Istanbul bombing that killed six people on central Istiklal Avenue.
