Uttar Pradesh: Eight dead from potato flood after roof collapses

At least eight people have died when the roof of a warehouse packed with huge sacks of potatoes collapsed in Sambhal, a town in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.

People were buried under piles of potatoes and rubble from the building, and videos showed rescuers searching for survivors.
