Where is Wordle from?
Wordle was originally developed by engineer Josh Wardle as a gift for his partner. The popularity quickly exploded, becoming a global phenomenon enjoyed by thousands of players around the world every day. Some Wordle fans have even started creating alternate versions of the daily word puzzle game themselves, such as B. Battle Royale Squabble, the music identification game Heardle, and variations like Dordle and Quordle, where you can guess multiple words at once.
TikTok creators even live streamed themselves playing Wordle, and the puzzle game eventually grew so big that the New York Times bought it earlier this year.

Why are there two different Wordle answers on some days?
Normally, Wordle only has one correct answer per day. Occasionally, however, the puzzle will accept two different solutions as correct, spreading Wordle-related confusion in group chats everywhere. This is because the New York Times made changes to Wordle after acquiring it, exchanging some answers for new ones.
The Times has since added its own updated word list, so this should be even rarer than before. To avoid confusion, it’s a good idea to refresh your browser before jumping into a new puzzle.
